White Chicken Chili

  • 1 can navy beans rinsed
  • 1 can great northern beans
  • 1 can chick peas
  • 2-3 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons mince garlic
  • 1 small can of green chiles
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder(more if desired)
  • 2 tablespoons of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 8oz container of sour cream
Cube and cook the chicken in a skillet with the garlic and green chiles.  Put the chicken, beans, spices and chicken stock into a slow cooker or crock pot.  If you like more spice then add to taste. Cook on medium for about 4 hours. Then about 30minutes before serving put in the sour cream.  I say add as much or as little extra spice as you like but we really enjoyed this last night.
