Quinoa, lentil, black beans, and rice

  •  2 cups chicken broth or broth of choice
  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1/2 lentils
  • 1tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter(optional)
  • salt pepper and other spices to taste.


2 cups chicken broth or any broth. Bring to a boil. Add half cup of quinoa and lentils, tbsp minced garlic and tbsp olive oil. Let that simmer for about 20 min or until tender. Seperately make 1 cup of minute rice. When the lentils and quinoa are done add in rice and can of black beans and let them heat up. You can also add whatever spice you like to taste. This batch was garlic salt and curry powder. A tbsp of butter is also optional to make a little creamier
